Community Outreach Consulting
After 13 years of working directly in Santa Barbara County’s most underserved, helping animals and pet owners in need, we realize the tremendous impact we have had when it comes to reducing pet overpopulation and improving animal welfare—most noticeable in drastically reduced intake numbers at animal shelters countywide.
Our unique, boots-on-the-ground community outreach approach, coupled with several innovative programs, ensure that low-income, senior, disabled and unhoused pet owners in our county’s most underserved, or “critical,” areas have access to free and low-cost services for their dogs and cats. We believe C.A.R.E.4Paws’ outreach methods can benefit animals and pet-owning families beyond Santa Barbara County, which is why we have launched our Community Outreach Consulting program.
