Inspiration in action: Ava’s annual school drive

Looking for a great example of what teamwork can do? Student volunteer Ava Vasquez turned a passion for helping animals into a beloved tradition at her former school, Vieja Valley Elementary. By organizing a friendly, classroom-vs-classroom competition, Ava led her fourth annual donation drive to success—collecting an incredible 1,230 pounds of pet food for our Companion Pet Assistance program! Her dedication helps keep local pets out of shelters and at home with the families who love them.
