Foster a Pet in Need

Want to help pet families exposed to domestic violence? We are looking for foster homes to care for dogs and cats while their owners seek safety from abuse. Studies show that many survivors stay an average of two years longer in a violent situation when family pets are involved. Safe Haven provides immediate, anonymous shelter for animals until they can be reunited with their loving owners.

We also receive many foster requests from community members going through a temporary transition, such as hospitalization and homelessness.

Having access to great foster homes prevents suffering and helps ensure that pets can stay with their people for life.
