C.A.R.E.4Paws begins March with the official launch of its first Pet Refuge, a confidential safe haven for pets whose owners are facing domestic violence or other life crises. Community members can support these efforts at the upcoming Donation Drive-Thru on March 14 or by attending the Happy Tails Celebration & Fundraiser in May. Ultimately, C.A.R.E.4Paws is committed to keeping Central Coast pets healthy and with their families for life.

Join C.A.R.E.4Paws at the beautiful Gatehouse at Bien Nacido for an afternoon of wonderful wine, live music, and community spirit! This ‘pawsitively’ inspiring fundraiser supports our mission to expand mobile veterinary care and complete the Central Coast’s first confidential Pet Refuge.

C.A.R.E.4Paws turns 16 and we have so much to celebrate! We’ve launched a Pet Refuge campaign, continue to provide care for 1,500 pets every month in our mobile units, altered 78 pets during our Spayathon and all spay/neuter donations are matched up to $25K. We’re also expanding services for unhoused pet families. Thank you for your ongoing support!

We have so many updates to share from our Mobile Community Medicine & Spay/Neuter Outreach program, from the hiring of a new lead veterinarian and our upcoming Spayathons, to happy tails and great partnerships that increase access to care including a matching gift challenge.
