Spayathon & Pet Wellness Clinic in Santa Maria
Pet parents, you’re invited!
We’re excited to announce our next big Spayathon and walk-in vaccine clinic on Sunday, August 17, in partnership with Santa Barbara County Animal Services at SBCAS’ Santa Maria shelter plus many more.
Surgeries for cats and dogs are free for families in need of financial assistance. Pet parents only pay a low-cost fee for post-op pain medication and a cone (e-collar) to go home.
Our walk-in wellness clinic open from 10am – 1pm offers vaccines, flea treatment, nail trims, microchips and dewormer at a low cost. Microchips are FREE and dog licensing is available thanks to Santa Barbara County Animal Services. Learn more below.
Community members, we can’t do this without you!
We invite the community to sponsor surgeries through two matching gift opportunities that help supplement C.A.R.E.4Paws’ cost of spays/neuters. Thanks to our great friends at ResQcats, all donations up to $5,000 toward feline spays/neuters will double. Thanks to an amazing grant from John J. and Frank Sparacio Foundation, all gifts toward surgeries for dogs will have twice the impact on reducing pet overpopulation and improving animal welfare.
Walk-in clinic services (10am to 1pm)
Clients must bring proof of prior vaccinations to receive 3-year vaccines (rabies, DHPP, FVRCP).
- Rabies vaccines for dogs and cats: $15
- Distemper/parvo vaccine (DHPP) for dogs: $15
- Feline distemper vaccine (FVRCP) for cats: $15
- Bordetella vaccine for dogs: $20
- Flea treatment: $15
- Deworming treatment: $15-$30
- Nail trimming: $30
- Microchips: $15 free in Lompoc (for Lompoc residents and at special events)
- Dog licensing with Santa Barbara County Animal Services is now available online.
There is a service fee for credit cards. We do not offer any discounts as our prices are already low cost. We do not take CareCredit or pet insurance.
