Puppies count on us to keep them healthy and safe from diseases like parvo, which is rampant on the Central Coast right now! Parvovirus is a serious, highly contagious condition that can be fatal for many dogs, particularly puppies and unvaccinated adult dogs.

Please make sure your puppy receives three rounds of Distemper/Parvo (DHPP, aka DAPP). The first vaccine should ideally be given at 6 or 8 weeks, followed by two boosters given three to four weeks apart. Use extreme caution when socializing your puppies until they are fully vaccinated as they are still very vulnerable to contracting the virus even after two shots. Avoid dog parks and other public areas. At our walk-in pet wellness clinics (or any other vet clinic), please do not put puppies on the ground. C.A.R.E.4Paws charges only $15 for a DHPP shot and most other vaccines: care4paws.org/clinicservices. Learn more about parvo through caninejournal.com/dhpp-vaccine/.

We offer low cost vaccines to help pets stay safe and with their families for life.
