Pawsitive outcomes abound when it comes to our community outreach. In April, when we learned that multiple litters of kittens and moms had been abandoned in the Santa Maria riverbed, dedicated volunteers rushed to bring them to safety. Santa Ynez Valley Humane Society kindly took in several cats and kittens, as did C.A.R.E.4Paws’ Animals In Need Fund (AINF) program. While the kitties AINF took in had several health challenges, they survived thanks to loving foster care and medical support from Beach Cities Veterinary Hospital and Monarch Dunes Veterinary Group.
Today, we’re thrilled to share that Poppy and her babies are healthy, thriving and ready to find their forever homes.
